MANILA, July 6, 2012—A movement for Pedro Calungsod plans to launch a monthly themed celebrations in view of promoting the upcoming canonization of the 2nd Filipino Saint.

Clarke Nebrao of +Big Movement said to effectively promote the 2nd Filipino saint, “we need to be consistent by doing plus big event for Pedro.”
“So we start with the ‘big move’ this July which will start the countdown of the 100 days of Pedro Calungsod with the tagline ‘Big Move: 100 days to Pedro’s canonization’ that will be launched during the 1st Catholic Social Media Summit on July 14 and 15,” Nebrao said.
August is the “big dare”, an activity that will dare our fellow Filipinos especially the youth, not only here in the country but also all over the world to embrace the virtues and the life of Pedro Calungsod.
Nebrao said that during this month, doing small acts of goodness for others will be the main values to be applied because these will have lasting effect to others.
September would be the “big push”, with activities ranging from musical concert for Pedro Calungsod to releasing of coffee book table, painting of the Saint as interpreted by Angono artists or famous artists in the country and a mission album.
